![]() ![]() I was originally going for the pork chop, but decided against since I haven’t seen a Wellington in a menu for the longest time. We ordered the Foie Gras (creamy and thick, mmm) and shared the Beef Wellington. The dish came promptly and were delicious and hot and crispy, very appreciated since the man was starving. He loooves artichokes and if it’s in the menu he’ll order it. Started with a couple of lovely glasses of champagne and the artichoke appetizer. I arrived at 7:27, checked in, and while I was trying to get a hold of him (I went looking in the Side Door first) our table was ready. Hubby got there half an hour earlier so he sat at the bar and distracted the bartender with his chat while I was driving there. With a little imagination you would be back in Old England. What made the night most enjoyable were the strolling Christmas singers in there Victorian Costumes. Total bill with 2 glasses of wine was $135.00 plus tip. Tip.if you want this item, you need order when you place order for food. Sides consisted of cream spinach, cream corn mashed potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. both were the most tender cuts of meat we have ever had. I had the large cut w/bone attached, wife had smaller cut. Complimentary fresh bread and butter served also. ![]() Much, much better crab cake at Newport Landing. Good size but out of all items I was very disappointed in it. Food - We both split a Wedge Salad that was very good. Very sweet young lady and very attentive throughout the meal. Hostess & Greeting - Very polite and on time for seating. We were a little early and enjoyed a cocktail in The Pub Area. If you do not have a reservation you will not get a seat in restaurant. My wife and I came on 12/20 and had a reservation for 5 30pm. ![]() Five Crowns is a wonderful Old English Dining spot. ![]()
